Donita graduated locally from Forest High School in 1979. Years later, after Homeschooling her children, she became a State Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant. She also became certified to Teach English as a Foreign Language.

Donita served in the Medical Community in Ocala for seven years. Upon completing that season in life, for three years, she tutored Elementary aged students in the Silver Springs Shores Community who attended both Greenway and Emerald Shores Elementary Schools.

What do you like most about your ministry at CCC?
Building friendships and relationships with the parents and children of Christ Community Church is what I like most about serving in the Nursery - Preschool Dept (0-K5). I love hearing children pray to God and I love watching them dance to Worship songs that are played. This is heartwarming to the soul. It is the joy of connecting, establishing, and building strong relationships with parents and walking with them in good and not so good times and being supportive of their needs for that very moment. This fills my heart!
