The Good News Club
After School Bible Club
Good News Club is an after-school Bible club for elementary age children at a nearby public school sponsored by Christ Community Church. Students enjoy snacks, sing songs, learn a Bible lesson, hear a missionary story, and recite a memory verse. You can learn more about Good News Clubs throughout Marion County at www.cefmarionfl.com
Good News Club takes place on Mondays from 2:05-3:35 at the school. It runs for 12 weeks in the fall (Sep.-Nov.) and 12 weeks in the winter (Jan.-March) Parents can sign their children up for Good News Club at the school or request a sign-up sheet from the church. Volunteers for the Good News Club need to be approved through the Marion County Public School System.
If you would like to volunteer and be part of the Good News Club Team, email the church office: firstname.lastname@example.org

Encouraging women growing in christ
The mission of the women’s ministry at Christ Community Church is to encourage women towards greater intimacy with Jesus Christ and towards authentic relationships with one another. Hebrews 10:24-25 (our key verse) inspired our name—Women Encouragers. It also influences the fellowship meetings we hold several times a year as well as the various women’s Bible study groups. We desire to equip women to honor and serve Jesus Christ in their families, the church, and in their communities.

Beyond “Hello” Relationship Building
Talking and Sharing Experiences Together
One of our core values at Christ Community Church is Growing in Community. In any church you cannot know everyone, but every person needs to be known. On a basic level, that means talking and sharing experiences together.
On a deeper level, it means making the decision to be transparent, encouraging one another and eventually praying for one another.
We are emphasizing closer relationships through a new initiative called Beyond “Hello”. Over the next few months, we are asking members of our church family to sign up and attend a gathering either at someone’s home or at another location. The gathering may be just for coffee, or to have lunch or dinner. On Some may want to gather and go see an upcoming movie or concert. The opportunities for connecting are endless!
The goal of Beyond “Hello” is for our church family to get to know one another and share life in Christ. Beyond “Hello” is also an opportunity to invite neighbors and non-church friends into a comfortable setting, in the hope that they would see Christ living among our church family.
We are eager to see and hear what God does among us as we join together and gather in His name!
